Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Q: How do I qualify as a Toyota fleet customer?
A: A fleet account is defined by Toyota as any company that maintains (or has plans to operate) 10 or more vehicles in service - they don't even need to be Toyotas. Commercial accounts who choose to finance or have their fleet purchases through a commercial lease company may order Fleet production. For orders of this nature, the commercial lease company must also apply for a Fleet ID number and provide Toyota with a copy of its purchase order from its commercial customer.
2. Q: If I have more than 10 vehicles, how do I get a Fleet ID?
A: If you qualify under the requirements listed above then you, or your lessor, are welcome to apply for a Fleet Identification Number (FIN) from Toyota. Please contact your Sandy Springs Toyota National Fleet representative who will provide you with the appropriate documents (Toyota Fleet ID form and W-9) in order to process your request. If you prefer, we'd also be happy to schedule a meeting to discuss your vehicle needs and application in person.
3. Q: How do I order Fleet vehicles?
A: Once a Fleet Identification number has been established, your Sandy Springs Toyota National Fleet Representative can custom-order fleet category vehicles for you using any applicable Fleet incentives.
4. Q: What type of work truck equipment do you provide to satisfy my business needs?
A: We have national working relationships with Weather Guard, Adrian Steel, Tommy Gate, Leonard's and A.R.E. Sandy Springs Toyota also has additional fleet equipment relationships that can provide all your vehicle uplift requirements.
5. Q: If I am a business customer, but do not have 10 or more vehicles, what support is available?
A: Business retail customers with less than 10 units in operation typically qualify for prevailing retail incentives. Please contact your Sandy Springs Toyota National Fleet representative to determine if any commercial incentives may apply. A Sandy Springs business client can also benefit from extra discounts on vehicles, parts and service. Vehicle delivery and employee pricing programs are also available.
6. Q: If my fleet is under 10 units, how do I order vehicles to meet my business needs?
A: Vehicles can be purchased directly from dealer inventory to meet your business needs. Sandy Springs Toyota has one of the largest inventories in the Southeast and access to thousands of other vehicles to meet your company needs.
7. Q: How do I order vehicles that require distant delivery?
A: Your Sandy Springs National Fleet representative can arrange delivery throughout the Continental United States using Toyota's Executive Delivery (TED) network.
